Flags, emblems of nations and communities that have often become flags of war, on symbols that justify the superiority of one culture over another. However, in this artworks these pieces of cloth are treated with freedom to represent other ideas. Flowers, elements commonly associated with the feminine appear here to account for the daily struggles that women face in a reality that presents unfavorable to them. The feminine is also resignified: the flowers are constructed through fragments of fabrics and textures that are intermingled with the greater fabric of the flag. Gender pieces combine to account a gender conflict.
